Cardi B and Offset welcome baby boy, but what’s his name?

The A-list rap couple has just welcomed their second child! On Saturday, Cardi B and her husband Offset, from rap trio Migos, had a baby boy. Cardi B first revealed the news with an adorable Instagram post on Monday.

We’re all dying to know the happy couple’s name for their new baby, but as of now, his name is still unknown. Alongside their firstborn daughter, Kulture Kiari, the family is now enjoying their time with their newest addition. First look at Cardi B & Offset’s baby boy

The Grammy-winning rapper first shared the happy news alongside a photo of her holding her baby boy in her hospital bed while sitting next to Offset. In the photo, Cardi and Offset look warmly at their first son while Cardi B sits underneath a Louis Vuitton blanket.

Cardi B captioned the loving family photo “9/4/21” and added emojis such as a dinosaur, teddy bear, and blue heart. At the time of the photo’s release, these were the only clues to the new baby’s gender. Now, it’s been confirmed that their second child will be the couple’s first son together.

The couple released a statement detailing, “We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

Cardi B revealed her pregnancy at BET Awards

Cardi B first revealed the news of her pregnancy in the most stylish way possible. In June, at the BET Awards, the rapper joined the stage with her husband and Migos in a stunning black and bejeweled bodysuit which had a sheer panel that perfectly exposed her growing baby bump.

Of course, social media went crazy that night but Cardi B didn’t officially confirm the news until the day after the performance. She shared a heartwarming and elegant photo of her daughter Kulture touching her precious baby belly.

“I just know these two will love each other soo much and argue soo much since they’re 3 years apart. . . just like me and (sister) Henny. But one thing for sure is they’ll have each other’s back like no one else ever will,” she tweeted at the time.

The “WAP” singer also posted a photo of her and Offset with his hands wrapped around her growing baby bump and expressed her gratitude. She thanked “everyone for the congrats and well wishes.” 

“We listened to each other, communicated, prayed and then God blessed us and our family with another little blessing,” Cardi B wrote on Instagram. “Our home feels so blissful and very busy but we are ready and so happy!”

How Cardi B discovered she was pregnant

Cardi B said she first began to show pregnancy signs just two weeks before the Grammys during rehearsals for her performance with Megan Thee Stallion. The rapper said she noticed her “mouth started to get watery” and she was enduring headaches & carsickness.

Quickly after, she told Offset, “I think I’m pregnant, bro!” After confirming that their second baby was on the way with a pregnancy test, Cardi shared that she and her husband began to laugh.

“We just started laughing like, ‘Lord, we have so much to do,’” she remembered. The musician also shared her excitement for her new baby on the way, saying, “There is something so dear about this pregnancy and I feel like I’m starting a new chapter, and I’m happy about that.”
