Disney Plus originals: All the movies hitting the platform this summer
Since its release in November of 2019, Disney+ has featured one of the most impressive streaming libraries – mainly because Disney knows how to hit us where it hurts: nostalgia. To some, this approach appears merely cheap. To us, it’s a dream come true. We’re dying for more original content after The Mandalorian’s success.
Recently Disney+ has been catching up, adding original movies & TV shows to the platform. This summer, it’s only going to get better.
We’ve compiled a list of all the new content coming to our favorite streaming platform this summer. Look out for a few notes on our personal favorites.

Taking the tone of the original Muppets Show, Muppets Now is definitely going to be a nostalgia-filled TV show. This comedy is an improvised comedy based on Jim Henson’s The Muppets franchise.
Incredibles 2
This summer, you can relive the disappointment or the hype you felt when watching Pixar’s Incredibles 2. Our only question is, what took them so long to add it?
Marvel Hero Project E20

Unfortunately, the release slate for August hasn’t been released yet. But between the already impressive catalog and what’s to come in June & July, we should have plenty of Disney content to tide us over.
