They may also detoxify your system, too! 

Smoothies will definitely keep you chilled and may even add a few years to your life! But you may want to be a little picky with the recipes. Have these healthy smoothies for breakfast, snack, whenever and you’ll be all set. 

Pomegranate Green Smoothie Bowl

Smoothies don’t always have to be enjoyed as a drink. Think of it as a cool, rich, fruit soup. The pomegranate green smoothie bowl can be topped with pomegranate arils, hemp seeds, pistachios, and dark chocolate. 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of fresh kale
  • ½ cup of Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup of pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • Toppings (can be any of your choosing)

Instructions

  1. Take a high speed blender/food processor.
  2. Gather all the ingredients in the blender/food processor.
  3. Mix everything together until they’re smooth.
  4. Depending on how thick you want it, you may want to add some more pomegranate juice. 

Blueberry Banana Smoothie

  • 1 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup of frozen bananas (slice them first)
  • 1 tablespoon of flax meal
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Take a high speed blender/food processor.
  2. Gather all the ingredients in the blender/food processor.
  3. Mix everything together until they’re smooth.
  4. If your smoothie is too thick for your liking, simply add a tablespoon of the almond milk. You’ll only need a tablespoon at a time. 

Apple Pie Smoothie

  • 1 small frozen banana
  • ½ cup of nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt

  • ¼ cup of rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • ½ cup of almond milk
  • Handful of fresh spinach or kale (optional)

  4. For a vegan option, instead of Greek yogurt, just add more almond milk!
