Stunning images: Keep an eye on these growing fashion photographers

Keeping an eye out for fashion photographers on the rise is easy with social media like Instagram & Twitter. The newest photographers getting behind the camera for photoshoot spreads in Vogue & Cosmopolitan are making names for themselves more than ever. Fashion photographers who work with stunning models like Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, and the like have an eye for detail.

Amanda Charcian, @amanda_charchian

Amanda Charcian is a fashion photographer to look out for in 2021. The Los Angeles based photographer knows how to capture a sense of sensuality in a way that is fresh & innovative. Her work comes across as very dreamily feminine in a mild way.

The soft curves of the female body are often the subject of focus for her Charcain’s work. Some of the mainstream names she’s collaborated with so far include Nordstrom, Bulgari, Gucci, Cartier, and Glossier. Her portfolio is undoubtedly going to continue growing.

Alessio Bolzoni, @alessiobolzoni

Alessio Bolzoni is known for trying things out that aren’t common or typical in the world of fashion photography. The Italian photographer goes for daring imagery to create a new spin on what’s seen as true beauty.

Bolzoni’s photographer ideas come from street life, theater, and cinematography. The real world can be a lovely place to snag ideas for art. His work has been used in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar UK, Marie Claire, and Glamour.

Julia Johnson & Cody Cloud, @jucophoto

Julia Johnson & Cody Cloud are a dynamic duo when it comes to fashion photographers out there today. These two know how to incorporate bold colors, intricate shapes, and fresh looks into their work.

They met each other for the first time in 2002 and started collaborating together which was one of the smartest ventures they could’ve embarked on. They’re based in Los Angeles and most recently, they photographed actress Reese Witherspoon.

Emma Tempest – @emstempest

Emma Tempest is from Britain but she does work going back and forth between New York & London. New York is known to be one of the great fashion capitals of the world so her choice to bounce between the two locations makes sense. Tempest uses a lot of softer colors in her work to create a sense of calmness & peacefulness. She’s worked with Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Ralph Lauren.

Sebastian Kim, @sebkimstudio

Whether he’s shooting black & white images or images in a full range of color, Sebastian Kim is killing the game as a fashion photographer. He was born in Vietnam but he grew up living in both France & Iran. His cultured view of the world likely comes from growing up in vastly different places while developing style opinions and tastes. He is very technical & sophisticated when it comes to the lighting he chooses.

Dario Castellani, @dariocastellani

Editorial work on the conceptual side is the name of the game for fashion photographer Dario Castellani. His street photography is as incredible as his fashion photography, proving he’s quite versatile behind the camera. He’s shot photos for British Vogue, Vogue Italia, and Dazed

Patrick Demarchelier, @patrickdemarchelier

Patrick Demarchelier was once making a living as a freelance photographer until he realized his love for fashion photography. Becoming a successful fashion photographer became his main life goal . . . and he’s achieved that. The French artist has accumulated close to a million followers on Instagram right now because of the gorgeous style of his work.

Matthew Brookes, @matthewbrookesphoto

There’s something so brooding & haunting about fashion photographer Matthew Brookes. His work all seems to have a similar vibe that is extremely artistic from a viewer’s perspective. Brookes lives back and forth between New York City & Paris now, the two greatest places to live for fashion-minded folks. He’s taken pictures of famous celebrities, dancers, athletes, and of course, models.
