Is Elon Musk holding Grimes’s children hostage in his house?
We’ve watched Elon Musk push boundaries, both on Earth and beyond. Now, his world seems to be shaken up with personal conflicts and it’s playing out for everyone to see. The mastermind behind SpaceX, the genius driving Tesla, is under the spotlight, not for his futuristic plans, but for the drama unfolding between him and his former flame, Grimes.
But what does that have to do with his house? Let’s take a look at how Grimes may have to break into his house in order to see their son, and if that has an effect on the Ukraine war.
A Tweeted Tale of Tumult
Who would’ve thought a tweet could stir so much drama? Walter Isaacson, known for his in-depth biographies, tweeted a seemingly innocent photograph of Musk with Shivon Zilis, mother to two of Musk’s children. But what unfolded was an unexpected turn of events.
Just weeks before this picture-perfect image was shared, Grimes had given birth to a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. Their relationship, always described as “fluid”, had Grimes seeing Musk as both her boyfriend and her best friend. However, shortly after their daughter’s birth, they announced their separation.
While the duo had previously welcomed son X Æ A-12 in May 2020, recent events suggest that their once amicable relationship is straining at the seams. The evidence? Grimes’ reaction to Isaacson’s tweet, demanding Elon grant her access to her son and for Shivon to engage with her.
The Many Worlds of Musk
While Grimes’ and Musk’s relationship gets much media attention, it’s easy to forget that Elon Musk has a vast family. He’s fathered at least nine children with three different women. But that tweet from Grimes points towards more undercurrents of tension.
Notably, Musk is allegedly estranged from his 19-year-old daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson. The cause? Musk cites her catching the “woke mind virus”, a disagreement over core values that has separated father and daughter.
Starlink: A Satellite Story
Shifting gears from the personal to the political, Musk also found himself in hot water regarding Ukraine’s military strategies. Relying on SpaceX’s Starlink satellite communications, the Ukrainian forces almost executed an attack on Russian naval vessels. Concerned about the potential of a nuclear fallout, Musk intervened and severed the satellite connection. A risky move, to say the least.
Quizzed about his decision, Musk simply responded, “How am I in this war? Starlink was not meant to be involved in wars… not drone strikes.” Yet, when Ukraine asked to have the connection restored, Musk refused. This move, along with Musk’s spontaneous decisions regarding the funding of Starlink in Ukraine, led to internal disputes with SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell.
The Elon Enigma Continues
From personal dramas to international politics, Musk remains an enigmatic figure. He juggles being the face of multiple groundbreaking enterprises while also being at the center of controversies. As we continue to watch his journey, one can’t help but wonder: What’s next for Elon Musk?
