Join the Losers Club: ‘It: Chapter Two’ trailer has dropped
New Line Cinema’s horror thriller It was based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name which has been terrifying readers for decades.
It centers around children disappearing in the town of Derry, Maine. A group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
It starred Bill Skarsgård (Allegiant, Netflix’s Hemlock Grove) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (Netflix’s Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming Cops and Robbers), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic).
It set the box office on fire, earning more than $700 million globally, and still holds the record for biggest-grossing horror movie of all time.
Now the trailer just dropped for It: Chapter Two looking as terrifying as the first installment. The sequel opens September 6th.
We revisit the Losers Club, who are now adults and don’t remember much of the traumatic events of the first movie. (I think I’d probably remember being terrorized by a demonic clown but y’know, that’s just me.)
The grown versions of the Losers Club are played by Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, Andy Bean, and James Ransone.
Check out the trailer now and start to get terrified.
