At its heart, Something Divine follows the transformative spiritual path of music artist Ray “Raghunath” Cappo, whose life took an unexpected turn when he stepped away from a successful music career to pursue a deeper calling in India. Thomas Essig is an American film producer, musician, audio engineer, and actor. A native of Staten Island, New York, and a longtime member of Pittsburgh’s creative community, Essig founded SSYY Productions Inc. in 2017.

His producing credits include the feature Go/Don’t Go, on which he served as executive producer, and the award-winning short Through the Stars, which he co-executive produced. He is also attached to the forthcoming feature The Monte Carlo (2026).
