1 Kristof Van Hout – 6 feet 10.5 inches
On February 9, 1987, Belgian professional football player Kristof Van Hout, a goalkeeper for Lommel, was born. With a height of 2.08 m, he is one of the tallest football players in history.
Young player Van Hout moved from Verbroedering Geel to Willem II in 2004. On August 6, 2009, Standard Liège purchased him from Kortrijk on a three-year deal. On June 11, 2011, he made a one-year commitment to return to Kortrijk.
On May 23, 2022, Van Hout and Lommel reached an agreement for one season. Kristof was the tallest soccer player of all time.

2 Vanja Ivesa
On July 21, 1977, in Pula, Vanja Ivea was born. He was a former goalkeeper for Croatian football and last played for NK Opatija.
Ivea, who played football professionally for about 26 years and measured over 2 meters tall, represented many clubs in Croatia, Turkey, and Australia.
On February 17, 2018, Ivea attained the record for the oldest player to have ever participated in the Croatian First Football League.

Hol competed in the Hradec Králové youth system before joining Sparta Prague. He began his professional career at Sparta Prague.

4 Tonny Brogaard
Football goalie Tonny Brogaard, previously Tonny Nielsen, last played for Boldklubben Frem in the Danish First Division.
On February 10, 1984, he was born. At 206 cm (6’9″), he is one of the tallest soccer players currently playing in the NFL. The sixth tallest soccer player in the world is Tonny Brogaard.
He was moved from Danish amateur club Fremad Amager, where he was filling in as the backup goalkeeper, to English team Doncaster Rovers in May 2005.

He signed a two-year contract and intended to compete against fellow Dane Jan Budtz for the job of starting goalkeeper.
Nielsen was a member of the league’s tallest players and was known as the “Gentle Giant” of football. He played in just one preseason game at Doncaster and did not see a lot of action there.
