We are open to all writers, whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer with a great idea.
Submission Fees
We are dedicated to providing a platform for all. Our submission fees are low and go directly into competition prize monies and employing readers. As such, we do not provide any submission waivers.
Student fees will always be $10.
Terms & Conditions
- Authority to Enter into this Agreement.
Film Daily News needs confirmation that you have the right to enter into this contest. By entering this contest, you are expressing that:
1.1 You are 18 years old or have permission to enter this contest from your parent/guardian.
1.2 You have the full rights and power to enter into an exhibition agreement.
1.3 You are the sole creator of the project, an agent acting on behalf of the creator, or a designated representative working on behalf of an organization or collective with express permission to enter this festival.
- Submission Deadlines
Submissions will not be accepted after the deadline has passed. Early entry is encouraged, but will not guarantee acceptance.
- Submission Format
Scripts must be submitted via PDF ONLY.
- Submission Eligibility
We only accept work made after 2000.
- Submission Fees
Submission fees are non-refundable.
Submission fees are to be paid by secure online payment.
- Notification
We will try to notify all entrants by the closing date of our call to entry via email and your chosen submission portal.
- Scheduling
All live events are scheduled at the discretion of Film Daily News We will make every effort to assure the events go ahead on schedule but we do reserve the right to make changes to the schedule for any reason. Film Daily News will not be held liable for any costs claimed as a result of a change in scheduling.
- Prize Payments
Film Daily will endeavor to make all prize payments within 190 days of notifying winners. Prize payment dates are made at the discretion of Film Daily and are subject to change. Winners need a valid PayPal address to receive payment. Prize payments will be made on a Friday following the 16th of the payout month.
- Festival Events
All live events are scheduled at the discretion of Film Daily. We will make every effort to assure events occur on schedule, but we reserve the right to make changes to the schedule for any reason. Film Daily will not be held liable for any costs claimed as a result of a change in scheduling.
