Ian Brady and Myra Hindley: Here are all the creepiest serial killer couples

“Til death do us part.” It’s the traditional vow couples make when they get married, promising to stay together no matter what comes ahead. Of course, married couples made up of serial killers tend to take that little more literal than they should.

The webs these serial killer couples would weave are sometimes led by the male, sometimes led by the female. But there is definitely compliance from both partners in the murders the two commit together. It’s disgusting when one person is willing to take a human life, but a pair of murderers is even more infuriating.

Unfortunately, there have been several serial killer couples throughout history that terrorized their respective towns. These killers spent their lives taking away human lives until the right person came along and put an end to the madness. Let’s take the love boat down crazy couple river and see some of history’s most murderous couples.

Suzan and James Carson

In case you were wondering if the witch hunt ended after the Salem Witch Trials, it didn’t. The Carsons, nicknamed the San Francisco Witch Killers, specifically went after people who they thought were witches.

Three people were killed in their witch hunt before the Carsons were caught, but the list was far longer than that. The list of potential victims even included President Jimmy Carter, so it’s a good thing the Carsons were caught in time.

Judith and Alvin Neelley

The Neelleys, led by Judith, kidnapped three people, successfully raping and killing two of them, both young women. Of course, the third victim, a male who was in a relationship with another victim, survived his shooting and reported the Neelleys to the police.

Judith was also barely 18 when she committed these crimes, which makes her desire to target other young women even worse.

Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck

You’ve heard of Lonely Hearts ads, now meet the Lonely Hearts Killers. The pair met through a Lonely Hearts ad in the first place, and Beck abandoned her children to be with Fernandez in NY.

Once she moved in with him, she posed as his sister, and the two would respond to ads in the paper. Fernandez would lure the women in, and rob and murder them. The Lonely Hearts Killers lured in four victims before being caught, and caught the electric chair for their actions.

Jasmine Richardson and Jeremy Steinke

Already, their relationship was a problem as Richardson was 12 years old, and Steinke 23. Plus, Steinke truly believed he was a 300 year old werewolf. Naturally, Richardson’s parents forbade her from ever seeing him again.

Richardson then plotted with Steinke to murder her parents and her 8 year old brother. The two attempted to run away, but were picked up by police shortly after the murders. The 300 year old werewolf got three life sentences, while Richardson only got 10 years.

Charlene and Gerald Gallego

Gerald was desperate for a sex slave, and Charlene was a wife aiming to please. Both Gallegos worked to kidnap young women in their van, then rape and murder them. For ten years, the Gallegos lured nine women and one man before they met the strong arm of the law.

Gerald was arrested and given a life sentence, but Charlene testified against him. Charlene is even working with police to this day to help police understand how to deal with women who were abused.

Myra Hindley and Ian Brady

Responsible for the “moor murders”, Myra Hindley and Ian Brady took down five kids aged 10 to 17 after sexually assaulting them. To add insult to injury, Hindley & Brady would also take photos posing with their bodies or with their gravesites.

Myra Hindley’s brother-in-law caught Ian Brady in the act with their last victim, so he turned the couple into police. Both were given the life sentence for their crimes, though Hindley died in prison.
