Why did Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly shade this movie?
Ever since Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly started dating, their whirlwind romance has been so much fun to keep up with. They seem to be perfectly matched for each other since they share the same vibes, enjoy the same interests, and look drop dead gorgeous standing next to each other. At every single red carpet event, Fox & Kelly undoubtedly steal the show.
The selfies they post on social media together showcase just how deep their love is and it’s clear that they’re meant to be. In fact, Fox has even referred to Kelly as her “twin flame” in the past which is another way of describing a deeper connection – deeper than even soulmates.
The reason the two met in the first place is that they began filming the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass together, but their low opinion of the movie doesn’t seem to match how highly they view each other by any means.
Throwing shade
Machine Gun Kelly took to Instagram to drop an opinion on what potentially seems to be about Midnight in the Switchgrass. He said, “I would never act on something I don’t believe in. Ha, except . . .”
Megan Fox then jumped in to interrupt him before he could finish his sentence saying, “Don’t do that yet.” Since the movie hasn’t even hit theaters yet, it’s obvious that Fox was trying to block Kelly from saying anything that might get them in trouble.
Skipped the premiere
Whenever stars appear in brand new movies, showing up for the premiere of the film is typically a very big deal. The red carpet photoshoots that happen beforehand are usually very special and it’s a chance for actors to see how their performance panned out in front of the cameras.
For Midnight in the Switchgrass, Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly opted out of attending the premiere. They cited COVID-19 as the reason behind their decision, but no one knows for sure how truthful that is. It’s also important to note that Bruce Willis, their costar, also opted out of the premiere.
Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly receiving backlash
The director of Midnight in the Switchgrass is named Randall Emmett and he’s engaged to marry a model named Lala Kent. It seems that she’s pretty disappointed in Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly’s decision not to show up to the premiere because she reportedly threw some shade right back at them by congratulating the cast of the movie and leaving Fox & Kelly out of her statement.
If there wasn’t any shade to be thrown, she most certainly would have included their names. She even posted an Instagram story blocking out Fox’s face & name. Yikes.
What’s next?
Megan Fox has already appeared in a music video for Machine Gun Kelly’s song “Bloody Valentine” which means that she’s totally comfortable being a gorgeous video vixen for him throughout his music career. She very much supports him in his endeavors.
As far as the two of them starting another movie together? It’s possible they might sign on in an agreement to do that but since Midnight in the Switchgrass is a project they’re both clearly not too proud of, we’ll have to wait & see.
Fox & Kelly are one of the hottest power couples in Hollywood as it stands today. While she is known for her acting career and he’s known for his music career, whatever they have planned for the future is likely to be widely accepted by their fan base. So many people are rooting for this couple to succeed & thrive since they look so great together and appear to make each other so happy.
