‘I Like to Watch’: ‘Drag Race’ alums Trixie and Katya’s new Netflix show
The RuPaul’s Drag Race legends Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova are two powerful, biological businesswomen with a new Netflix deal. Building upon an expanding empire, the pair have long captivated fans with their stunning looks, onscreen chemistry, and signature wit.
After garnering the attention of the media on season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Trixie (who won the drag competition’s All-Stars 3 spinoff) and Katya (who placed among the finals on All-Stars 2) have teamed for a wide range of entertainment projects over the years.
Since the success of their 2016 YouTube show UNHhhh and Viceland’s 2017 The Trixie & Katya Show, the pair is now channeling their energy into new Netflix webseries I Like to Watch.
The new show features the drag superstars reacting to popular Netflix shows in their unique and captivating comedic style. I Like to Watch aired on November 21, 2019 and weekly episodes are expected over the next month on the Prism channel, which houses LGBTQ+ content from Netflix.
In addition to their entertainment enterprise, Trixie and Katya’s friendship is chronicled in the upcoming documentary Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts, which releases Dec. 3 on digital platforms.
The queens are also breaking into the literary scene with Trixie & Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood, offering a satirical take on beauty and homemaking, due on May 5th, 2020.
