Ticketmaster goes all-in on AI, hires ex-Amazon exec as CTO

According to Variety, Ticketmaster has hired Jim Freeman as its chief technology officer, naming the ex-Amazon executive to the role as part of a broader push to integrate artificial intelligence. The appointment fills a position left vacant since February after the departure of the prior London-based CTO, Carlos Alvarez-Coch, ahead of a deposition. The company has faced bot attacks for years and is shaking up its executive ranks to combat them.
