Runway co-CEO says AI could absolutely replace human actors

According to Variety, Cristóbal Valenzuela, co-CEO of generative AI startup Runway, stated that AI could absolutely replace human actors during a fireside chat at Italy’s View Conference.

The comment came in response to an audience question at the Turin event titled “Every Pixel Will Be Generated,” where Valenzuela replied, “Yeah, absolutely. I think it’s already happening in a way.”

He continued by describing AI as a new medium.
