Craft your way to success with these lesser known recipes in ‘Minecraft’

Ah, Minecraft, one of the most beloved and most popular games to ever exist. Minecraft is loved by those of all ages, from young kids who are just looking for a fun computer game to play all the way to top-notch gamers in the gaming community. If you’re also a huge fan of this game, then we’re sure you’re familiar with all the common recipes in Minecraft (or at least we hope). Choosing the best Minecraft servers for your needs can be difficult – but it doesn’t have to be. Here are the most important factors to consider when making your decision.

There’s plenty of crafting recipes in Minecraft that are absolutely essential to know from basically the very beginning of the game, especially if you’re playing on survival mode. From the torch (a stick and a piece of coal), to the fence (six sticks), all the way to the boat(five blocks of wood), there are plenty of recipes the average Minecraft player is sure to be knowledgeable about.

However, what about some more rare crafting recipes that are less well-known by most people in Minecraft? Want to step up your gaming skills and impress all your friends on your Minecraft survival servers? Let’s take a look at all the coolest rare recipes you can craft here.

Moss stone

Moss stone is absolutely beautiful, and it can amp up the aesthetic of the beautiful house you’re making. This material can be found particularly in dungeons, but did you know there’s actually a crafting recipe in Minecraft to build moss stone though? What’s even better is that it is super simple to make.

All you have to do is place one piece of cobblestone, which is obviously super easy to find in the game, right alongside some vine. Make sure to place the cobblestone in the first column in the second row, and the vine in the second column and second row, and Voila! There you have it, some beautiful moss stone to complete the cottagecore vibe of your dream project.

Beacon

Want to create this cool light source? This is one of those rare crafting recipes in Minecraft that will demand a little more extra effort, because after all, you’re going to have to defeat a Wither to obtain one of the ingredients to make a Beacon, which is a Nether Star. Are you up for the task though? If you think you can do it, the rest isn’t too much of a challenge for an average Minecraft player.

All you need to craft it is a Nether Star right in the middle, surrounded by five glass above and next to the Nether Star on both sides, and then three obsidians on the bottom row. Then, place the beacon on top of a pyramid created out of iron, gold, emerald, or diamond blocks, and you’ll have a beautiful beam of light that shoots up to the sky. This is not just beautiful, but can help you find your way back home if you get lost.

If you want to change the color of the light, you can place a piece of stained glass with the preferred color you would want above it. How pretty is that?

Pumpkin pie

Getting hungry? Well, there are plenty of cool snacks and treats that you can cook up for you and your friends in Minecraft by following some rare recipes. Let’s teach you how to make a pumpkin pie. All you’re going to need is one pumpkin, one sugar, and one egg, and you’re done! Plus, it restores eight hunger so it is quite useful versus a slice of cake which just restores two hunger. Yum!

Concrete

This is one of the newer blocks in the game, and crafting concrete may take a little bit of extra work, but we think it’s worth the effort. First, you have to create some concrete powder which includes four sands (one at each corner), a dye of your choice in the very middle, and then four gravels in the remaining spots.

From there, you are able to place down your concrete powder block, but you have to be careful. Concrete powder needs proper support since it is affected by gravity, so you should pour some water on it which will help solidify the powder block down to concrete, which will then remain in place even if it is undermined. Concrete blocks are perfect if you want a more emphasized, bright color
