NBC developing new ‘Coach’ series with Ty Burrell

According to Variety, Ty Burrell is developing a new take on the hit 1990s sitcom “Coach,” along with writers and executive producers Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman, known for their work on Happy Endings and Mr. Throwback.

NBC is behind the project.

The reboot is being eyed as a starring vehicle for Burrell should it go to series, but that has not yet been determined.
