John Mayer new music to be released via Sob Rock Records in Mercury partnership

According to Variety, John Mayer has set up his own label called Sob Rock Records in partnership with Mercury to release his first new solo music in five years.

The artist has been occupied with numerous other projects in recent years, during which new music was not among his activities.

Mayer announced his split from Sony Music in 2022 without any subsequent revelations at the time.
