House of Sunny marks 15 years with Peggy capsule collection

House of Sunny, the independent London fashion label, marks its 15th anniversary with the launch of the Every Girl Wants a Peggy capsule collection. This limited edition builds on the brand's most recognized design by extending the Peggy silhouette across multiple categories. The collection was developed to offer a full wardrobe of coordinated pieces that can be mixed for various occasions including nights out, dinners and weekend getaways. It arrives as the label reaches this important milestone in its history.

Sunny Williams founded the brand 15 years ago using only £30 and a sewing machine while working from a studio flat off Kingsland Road in east London. The label has remained independent and self-funded throughout its growth, establishing itself without external backing.

The capsule was created in collaboration with fashion creator Linda Schulz. Together they have taken the original Peggy cardigan shape and applied it to new items such as dresses, trousers, tops, outerwear and accessories. This approach creates an expanded Peggy wardrobe that moves the signature style into fresh proportions and categories while retaining its core identity.

The Peggy silhouette, originally a cardigan worn by Dua Lipa and becoming a defining style for the brand, is reimagined here. A brown base with contrasting pink faux fur trim updates the familiar shape. Faux fur serves as a key detail across the capsule, showing up on jackets, skirts, dresses, mesh tops, denim and accessories. The palette progresses through burgundy, brown, pink, sage, teal and lilac tones. A variety of fitted, cropped and relaxed silhouettes feature in the lineup, intended to be combined or worn separately. From a night out to dinner, drinks or a weekend away, these designs integrate the Peggy into diverse wardrobe sections.

Sunny Williams, Founder and Creative Director of House of Sunny, shared her thoughts on reaching this point and the creative process behind the capsule. She said, "Fifteen years feels like an incredible milestone. The Peggy has been such an important part of our story, so we wanted to see what could happen if we took that shape beyond the original piece and built a whole wardrobe around it. Working with Linda brought a fresh eye to the collection, and I love how she helped us keep the House of Sunny attitude while taking the Peggy somewhere unexpected."

Every Girl Wants a Peggy reflects the development of a label that has operated entirely independently. The collection gives one of House of Sunny's most recognizable shapes additional space to evolve after fifteen years. It also offers insight into how future wearers might interpret the design. The brand continues to emphasize its distinctive approach with the tagline that good times never go out of style.
