Where is Ellen DeGeneres’s Hollywood star? Why was it defaced?

For celebrities in Hollywood, getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a huge honor. Since the tradition started back in the 50s with legends like Cecil B. DeMille, Walt Disney, and Samuel Goldwyn, over 2500 stars have got their own near Hollywood Blvd. & Vine St.

Surprising absolutely no one, Ellen DeGeneres was the recipient of her own star in 2012, in honor of her work in TV. However, on August 25th, Ellen DeGeneres’s star was defaced by an unknown party, with the word “Pedo” scrawled across it in Sharpie permanent marker. No one (that we’re aware of) is 100% sure why the guilty party decided to vandalize Ellen’s star in this way.

Where is Ellen DeGeneres’s star?

The talk show host’s star was installed on the south side of the 6200 block of Hollywood Blvd. If you’re wondering where Ellen DeGeneres’s block of granite lies in comparison to other celebs’, Jennifer Aniston, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, and Adam Sandler all call the south side of the 6200 block home as well.

Why was Ellen DeGeneres honored?

Keep in mind back in 2012 Ellen DeGeneres was at the top of her game. Finding Nemo was the highest-grossing animated movie of all time for seven years straight. The Emmy award-winning The Ellen DeGeneres Show was going into its ninth season with bigger viewer counts than ever.

This doen’t even touch on Ellen’s influence thanks to sitcom Ellen, great successes hosting the Oscars, Emmys, and Grammys, and If These Walls Could Talk 2. It’s hard to argue Ellen wasn’t a TV legend back at the end of the Mayan calendar baktun cycle.

Why was Ellen’s star defaced?

After hearing Ellen DeGeneres’s star was defaced, you probably automatically assume it’s in relation to her “mean” behavior and the various allegations against her now. But the fact that someone wrote “Pedo” across her star in permanent marker indicates this may be related to the QAnon movement.

If you’re unfamiliar with the conspiracy phenomenon of QAnon, they claim to be an anonymous group of government workers claiming to have world-altering documents about U.S. government officials and various celebrities in Hollywood who are pedophiles – among many other facets. One big theory QAnon has been pushing is that the Jeffrey Epstein flight logs that were released aren’t accurate.

Specifically, the anonymous internet forum poster(s) Q has been promoting the theory that Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have been to Epstein Island via the Lolita Express, and are small cogs in a sprawling human trafficking organization.

QAnon convention

This also makes sense as an apparent gathering of QAnon supporters occurred on Hollywood Blvd. & Vine St. on Saturday prior to Ellen’s star being defaced. If these followers believe Ellen DeGeneres and other celebrities are pedophiles, it makes sense they would deface their stars while in the ‘hood.

The demonstration in Hollywood was just one of many held in the U.S., as the group gathered to get the word out about underground child trafficking. Chanting “Defund Hollywood” and “Save Our Children”, protestors marched through the streets to make their message heard.

Is Ellen DeGeneres a pedophile?

While there are plenty of allegations & stories about Ellen DeGeneres being mean, it’s mainly QAnon pushing that Ellen & Portia are pedophiles. But Q claims he/she/they are working with Trump to help dismantle this ring of pedophiles in Hollywood (and worldwide), so if they are, there could be evidence out there supporting such claims.

However, QAnon has been getting silenced by social media companies just as quickly as they can post. Facebook removed over 800 QAnon affiliated groups off the platform, claiming they were spreading fake news & inciting violence.

Twitter deactivated thousands of accounts posting & retweeting QAnon theories. In response, Q followers pointed to the fact that no Q “drop” (post) of the 4000+ contains a single encouragement to violence.

Whether or not Ellen is a pedophile is still unknown, but it’s clear there’s a group that’s not happy with her & her behavior. Ellen DeGeneres’s star has been cleaned off since the defacement – but who knows if someone may try to deface it again.
