What’s ‘Selling Sunset’ star Christine Quinn doing for Christmas?
Reality show Selling Sunset has made headlines for a variety of reasons this year – as any solid reality TV show should – but one scandal that refuses to leave its side is the scandal around the divorce & separation of Justin Hartley & Chrishell Stause. That Stause was doing the show when this happened wouldn’t be so scandalous if it weren’t for her actually being on the set when she received the news.
In what is now widely known as Stause getting heavily blindsided, she was informed about the divorce filing via text, just 45 minutes before the rest of the world knew. And like a sticky gum, this tidbit does not stop haunting the stars on the show. It may have even created a tear in the equation that Stause shared with her co-stars.
While many co-stars empathized with Stause, Christine Quinn wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, something that may have earned her the title of the villain of the year – even though, technical,y the news broke more than a year ago – in November 2019. Quinn maintained that the narrative of Stause being walked out on by her toxic husband, This is Us star Justin Hartley was a ruse.
In the middle of the heat
Quinn’s reason for not buying into the argument that Stause had put up was simple: the couple was already in therapy, so Stause couldn’t have been completely blindsided about the trouble in their marriage. She told Page Six, “We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while. We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them.”
Quinn added about her experience meeting Hartley, “I hung out with him many times and he was an absolute doll. He was an absolute sweetheart, especially to Davina [Potratz] and I, and I thought that was really interesting considering the dynamic between Chrishell and I. He has been nothing but nice and supportive to us.” Quinn had initially hoped that they could keep private & TV lives separate.
But she stood by her position. In a podcast appearance, she also alluded to Quinn blowing it out of proportion by “trying to have this portrayal of Justin Hartley being such a bad guy and just walking out on her.” She seems to have made up her mind about the situation. In fact, when others on the show didn’t make strong remarks, or just supported Stause, Quinn chose to be very clear about her stance on this.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Since then, many of the stars have moved on. Stause had a brief, fun stint in Dancing With The Stars. Quinn, it seems, is having a great time this festive season. She recently posted her festive photoshoot with Grazia magazine’s UK edition on Instagram.
In an extremely glamorous & glitzy look, she is wearing a white shirt & donning a large black bow. This chic style is accentuated by a shimmery gold blazer jacket with black detailing. If anyone could pull this off with such elan, it had to be Quinn. Even behind the sparkle & the shimmer, her sass is bitingly visible.
All of her clips are boomerang-style videos, with filters of candles, snowfall, and a huge tree embellished in the backdrop. She emanates a solid boss-woman vibe, with her power postures, even as she sits on the couch or squats on the floor. Her high heels, matching pants, and blond locks add more glamour if that was possible.
She might have had to face the wrath of a lot of people – particularly, fans of Stause, but she’s making sure she’s ending the year in style.
