Take a peek at these exclusive photos from Caliwater Escape at Joshua Tree
Cactus water is easily one of the most underrated beverages on the earth. Mainly because it’s a pain to try and access even on a good day. So Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena saw an opportunity for a new business. Thus, Caliwater was born. Authentic cactus water served in either prickly pear or ginger & lime, Caliwater is quickly becoming the latest hot brand.
To help celebrate the launch, Hudgens and Trevena brought the party to Joshua Tree and hosted the Caliwater Escape from April 30th to May 2nd. With campers and RVs provided by Outdoorsy, the event was the place to be this past weekend. Stars from all over Hollywood came out in support of the new brand.
Plenty of familiar faces
Along with brand co-founders Vanessa Hudgens & Oliver Trevena, Caliwater ambassador and investor Ross Butler made an appearance at the event alongside fellow 13 Reason Why stars Alisha Boe, Justin Prentice, Anne Winters, Brandon Flynn, and Brandon Larracuente.
Other notable guests included Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross, Bazzi, Bar Malik, Bria Vinaite, Kat McNamera, Zelda Williams, and Derek Hough. Both Vanessa Hudgens’s mother & sister came out to the event to support her new endeavor as well.
Biggest party of 2021
To keep the sustainability theme going, attendees got a chance to try out Steve Madden’s new eco-friendly, fashion forward footwear line Cool Planet. Around the pool, you couldn’t escape these stylish kicks that offered more than comfort and trends: they help save the planet one shoe at a time.
With DJ sets coordinated by Resorts World Las Vegas, guests at Caliwater Escape jammed out to Ruckus, Zen Freeman, and GG Magree. While making the rounds at the pool, guests also enjoyed plenty of cocktails provided by Resorts World featuring Calamity Gin, SoCal Rum, Nue Vodka, JAJA Tequila, and Dos Hombres Mezcal.
For those dying for some wine, Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards was there to answer the call. Of course, there was plenty of good eats to enjoy throughout the weekend as well. Caliwater Escape opened with a gorgeous picnic by The Gypsy Picnic, offering superfood bowls provided by VitaBowl.
Relaxation is the name
It’s no secret 2021 has been just as stressful as 2020. So attendees to Caliwater Escape were coming to do just that: escape the stress of the real world for just a weekend. Luckily, Artha, Miage Skincare, Mystic Starseed, and Timeless were on hand to do just that.
For the body, Artha teamed up with Miage Skincare to offer massages, cryotherapy facials, and group yoga for attendees. With transformative lotions and skin products, Miage helped Artha take their treatments to a whole new level.
For the soul, Mystic Starseed offered tarot readings/reiki and sound baths.
Those who wanted to see a bit of green could head to Timeless’s customized RV to score clean, effective cannabis medical vape cartridges to help unwind even further. Plus, with fabulous food from Chef Shane Fatemian of Soho House, including the Friday night dinner by Shaman Raman.
All in the name of charity
A big part of Caliwater’s launch is its charitable partnership with No Kid Hungry. By the end of their first year, Caliwater is hoping to have raised $1 million in donations for the childhood hunger charity. Every can sold will contribute five cents towards their goal.
As Caliwater is designed to help its customers connect to the earth through its all-natural beverage, No Kid Hungry was an important partnership to help every child feel connected to the world around them through a good meal. Caliwater is available now on their site, so grab yourself some cans today to support not only your well-being but an important cause.
