Key highlights include over 100 Pokémon adorning interiors from walls and ceilings to furniture, kitchens and bathrooms for a fully immersive setting. Themed zones place tranquil Water-type Pokémon in the bathroom while the kitchen highlights food-loving characters. An iconic giant Snorlax plushie serves as a photogenic centerpiece on the bed. Poké Ball-inspired details extend to custom dining tables, tableware and bed linens. Interactive elements feature hidden Pokémon that encourage exploration for children alongside nostalgic references from multiple generations.
The rooms are now available at 10 MIMARU properties across Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. New additions include MIMARU TOKYO HATCHOBORI and MIMARU TOKYO IKEBUKURO. These apartment-style accommodations offer spacious layouts with fully equipped kitchens, separate sleeping areas and dining spaces suited to multigenerational families or groups.
MIMARU’s Pokémon Rooms particularly appeal to international visitors by providing comfortable home-like amenities that are uncommon in traditional Japanese hotels. Guests can prepare their own meals and relax in generous spaces that support extended stays with family or friends.
