Rumored girlfriend Rosalia

The Weeknd surprised the world by dropping a remix of his chart-topper hit “Blinding Lights” featuring Spanish singer Rosalia. The flirtatious & steamy music video led many to speculate about a possible relationship between the two. However, these rumors haven’t been confirmed yet and The Weeknd doesn’t appear to have any girlfriend as of now.

On & off with Bella Hadid

The Weeknd & supermodel Bella Hadid have been keeping us on the edge with their on-again-off-again relationship. Bella Hadid & The Weeknd reportedly started dating in 2015 when E! News sources caught them hanging out & flirting at Coachella. As per the outlet, the pair had known each other for a while but they “really clicked” at the music festival.

The couple went officially off the market after solidifying their relationship in an Instagram post on the same day they attended the 2016 Grammy Awards red carpet together. A few months later, The Weeknd & his girlfriend, Hadid, went their separate ways due to scheduling dilemmas, according to a report by People.

The news came just days before the duo’s iconic interplay at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. But the split didn’t last too long. The Weeknd & Bella Hadid reconciled again in 2018 after they were spotted making out at a party in France during the Cannes Film Festival, according to E! News.

Two years after their infamous post-breakup strut on Victoria’s Secret runway, the pair became couple goals as The Weeknd took a front-row seat in the audience alongside Hadid’s mom to cheer his girlfriend. Though just a few months after their reconciliation, the couple broke up once again, as per E! News.

We’ll then fast forward to 2020 when the singer & supermodel bumped each other at the MTV VMA rehearsals in New York City. Going by the Daily Mail’s sources the two seem to be “on good terms” and “played it cool” when they “crossed paths with each other, same place, same time”.

Whirlwind romance with Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez & The Weeknd dated back in 2017. Seemingly out of nowhere, TMZ caught Gomez & Abel getting handsy with each other outside Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica. The paparazzi photographed the pair kissing and having a merry time hanging out.

However, their relationship was laced with drama from the get-go. According to Us Weekly, Abel’s ex-girlfriend, Hadid, told him that Gomez was “using” him. On the other hand, sources at TMZ said Gomez’s ex, Justin Bieber felt she was dating The Weeknd only to further her career.

However, Bieber’s accusations didn’t seem to put a dent in Gomez & The Weeknd’s blooming relationship. Soon after their much-talked-about outing, the couple made their relationship Instagram official while on a PDA-filled vacation in Italy.

The whirlwind romance between Gomez & The Weeknd went on for ten months before the pair finally split up in October 2017. Days before their break-up announcement Gomez was pictured with her ex Bieber having breakfast together.

People Magazine broke the news saying that Gomez & The Weeknd are officially over. According to the outlet, “It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months”.

Despite their very public split, the two seem to have no hard feelings towards each other and have since moved on. Gomez even promoted The Weeknd’s song “Snowchild” on her Instagram.
