New year, same homeschool problems: Cope with these memes
For most parents who are homeschooling their kids, it’s been a hard several months. While the rest of the world continues to self-isolate amid the COVID-19 pandemic and schools are closed for the foreseeable future, parents are tasked with the grueling duty of making sure their youngsters, no matter the age, attend their online classes – which is easier said than done.
And thanks to the propensity of the internet to turn every modern-day problem into a meme, we now have an endless flood of homeschool memes doing rounds on social media. So, to help you cope with the same old homeschool problems, we’ve rounded up some of the most hilarious and downright relatable memes that will have you in stitches in no time.
Homeschoolers be like
Previously, homeschoolers were only thought of as socially awkward & geeky kids who probably dressed like their parents, but boy did the pandemic change that perception.
Numbers are hard
Not everybody can cope with second-grade mathematics. All those who weren’t a big fan of math growing up now have to study the basic concepts again to teach their little ones how to add & subtract. Naturally, many parents took to social media to share their laugh-inducing memes & fail stories.
Struggle is real
When schools switched to online teaching, the parents were having trouble navigating through the new way, and the clunky tech jargon didn’t help either.
No homework
Getting the opportunity to sleep in, wear pajamas to school, and study for only a few hours a day, is there a better life than this?
Expectations vs. reality
The coronavirus turned our life upside down. Parents who once thought homeschooling was an easy way out have now gained a new appreciation for others who homeschool their kids.

Checkmate
Guess that’s one way to get through homeschooling. We’re pretty sure teachers have become saints in the eyes of homeschool struggling parents.
Our homeschooling curriculum includes: Honors Laundry and AP Vaccumming.

Homeschool chores or lesson plans?
Throw in a little mopping & dusting and you’ll have an immaculate house by the end of the week. Some chores are acceptable while playing homeschool, think of them like an extra-curricular activity and you’ll not feel that guilty anymore.
Alexa to the rescue
As always when everything fails, Alexa’s here to save the day. To be honest, Alexa is probably better at second-grade maths & science than any parent who’s trying their hand at homeschooling for the first time.
