'Selling Sunset' co-stars Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause are dating. Could this be an attempt to increase someone's net worth?

Romance in Italy: Is Chrishell Stause going after Jason Oppenheim’s net worth?

Now that Chrishell Stause & Jason Oppenheim of Netflix’s hit reality show Selling Sunset are an official couple, there’s a lot to unpack about their blossoming romance. Stause has had her fair share of heartache but from this point forward, it seems she’s doing a lot better. The smile that’s been captured on her face by paparazzi following her around says a lot.

Oppenheim, on the other hand, is known to be a little bit more of a player. During the first few seasons of Selling Sunset, the running joke was that he had a revolving door of women coming through his life. It seems that Stause is the woman who finally made him realize it was time to settle down. Most recently, the two have been spotted vacationing together in Italy!

It looks like things are moving quickly, but not too quickly. They’ve known each other for a few years as platonic friends since working together in the Oppenheim Group’s brokerage office as colleagues so it’s not like they were strangers. Is Stause after Oppenheim’s massive net worth though?

Jason Oppenheim’s net worth

Jason Oppenheim is an extremely successful & wealthy real estate expert. He works as both a broker & attorney, and to top it all off he’s also the president &  founder of the Oppenheim Group. It’s a real estate brokerage that represents the most elite buyers & sellers of high-end properties in Orange County, Los Angeles, and nearby surrounding areas.

The luxury mansions he deals with have pushed him into the realm of being a millionaire. In fact, he’s sold more than $1 billion dollars worth of real estate. He knows exactly what he’s doing when it comes to selling gorgeous homes and pocketing a lovely profit. As it stands today, Oppenheim has a net worth of $50 million and every single time he manages another sale through his brokerage, he just gets richer.

Chrishell Stause’s romantic history

Before getting into her fast-paced & amazing new relationship with Jason Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause dated a handful of other handsome bachelors. One of the first high profile relationships Stause was involved in was with Matthew Morrison who most people know from his time playing the music teacher in Glee. Their relationship didn’t end too well and she recounted their messy break up in an episode of Selling Sunset

She didn’t mention his name but she encouraged viewers to go ahead and Google who her ex-fiancé was. After calling things off with Morrison, Stause got into a relationship with Graham Bunn. They dated each other off & on, but ultimately they simply weren’t meant to be. After that, Stause married Justin Hartley . . . a short-lived marriage that infamously ended in a very devastating divorce.

The divorce was chronicled across third season episodes of Selling Sunset where Stause allowed herself to get emotionally vulnerable in front of the cameras. It’s hard to hold back when you’re going through something so difficult. After the divorce became public, Stause started dating her Dancing With the Stars costar Keo Motsepe.

Although she appeared to be very happy with him, they didn’t last beyond a few months together. Now she’s dating Oppenheim and it’s possible this relationship might be the end game for both of them.

Is Chrishell Staus after Jason Oppenheim’s net worth?

It’s easy for some people to speculate that Chrishell Stause might be coming after Jason Oppenheim’s money but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Prior to joining the cast of Selling Sunset and strutting her real estate agent skills for the whole world to see, Stause was also a soap opera actress in Shows like Days of Our Lives and The Young & the Restless

She’s already got enough going for her financially with a net worth of $5 million. There’s no reason for her to use anyone else for their money, especially not someone she’s dating! Fingers crossed this relationship is the real deal and that it lasts forever.
