Find out just how Priyanka Chopra’s baby nearly died

Priyanka Chopra recently shared a rare glimpse into her experience as a mother and her 15-month-old daughter Malti in a candid interview, admitting that her youngster “can get away with anything.” In January of last year, Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas welcomed their first child via surrogacy. Malti was finally allowed to go home in May after spending more than 100 days in a NICU.

Malti’s first few months were undoubtedly difficult for the couple, and Priyanka claims that this time has had a big impact on how she approaches parenting now. The actress has put Malti’s happiness above all else out of fear of almost losing her daughter. Priyanka acknowledges that she is totally dependent on her daughter and finds it difficult to think of ever reprimanding her.

Let’s take a look at how this all started!

Scary moments

Priyanka now recognizes her fierce responsibility to protect her children and strives to recreate the nurturing environment she knew growing up. Malti is always surrounded by family and exposed to the wonderful gifts that life has to offer thanks to the couple.

Priyanka talked about her marriage to Nick and how they balance their demanding careers with raising a family during the interview. She emphasized the value of little acts of kindness and encouragement in upholding a healthy and harmonious relationship.

As Nadia Sinh, the top agent of a global spy network, in the upcoming Netflix series Citadel, Priyanka is currently starring in it. The Russo Brothers, the show’s executive producers, were James Bond fans and purposefully created a strong female lead who would perform the “heavy lifting” in the series. Priyanka is excited about the gender balance in this traditionally male-dominated genre and is looking for roles that will stretch her acting chops.
