How to Snatch a Billionaire Hits 33.9M Views as Drama Box Joins Disney Accelerator
ATLANTA, GA — What began as a fast-turnaround project has now become one of Drama Box’s most surprising success stories. The vertical-format romantic drama How to Snatch a Billionaire has pulled in more than 33.9 million views since its 2024 release, proving the staying power of short-form storytelling. Shot in just ten days, the series continues to attract new viewers more than a year after its debut.
The show follows Harley Brooks, a rebellious young woman who finds herself entangled with billionaire heir Harrison Stark. From fake engagements and rivalries to hacking twists and the search for Harley’s estranged mother, the drama delivers all the classic sweet-romance beats—with enough intrigue to keep fans binge-watching on their phones.
The success of the show also arrives at a key moment for the platform. Drama Box has recently joined the Disney Accelerator program, signaling not only the company’s growth but also the industry’s recognition that vertical dramas are evolving into mainstream entertainment.

Producer Walter, who completed more than ten vertical dramas between late 2023 and the first half of 2024, sees the trend as unstoppable:
“Audiences everywhere want stories they can watch anytime, anywhere,” Walter says. “The challenge—and the excitement—comes from making these stories emotionally powerful in a compact format.”
During this period, Walter collaborated with Drama Box on three vertical dramas in quick succession. Their partnership began with Dark Web of Desire, which drew more than 7 million viewers on the platform. This was followed by Black Cobra Strikes Back, a reincarnation-themed series led by a Black female protagonist that earned notable attention for its fresh narrative approach. Most recently, How to Snatch a Billionaire has become one of Drama Box’s most-watched hits, highlighting both the creative and commercial potential of the vertical format.
