Don’t you wish you were at Mammoth Film Festival™ this weekend?

Mammoth Film Festival™ went strong into its third year at last night’s opening event. Screening the QT8 Tarantino documentary with special guest Michael Madsen.

Talent such as Michael Madsen, Christian Madsen, Ed Westwick, Alex Chando, Tara Wood, Blair Redford, Hana Mae Lee, Peter Facinelli, Lane Cheek, Ryan Rottman, Lily Anne Harrison, and many more flocked on the red carpet on opening night.

California’s favorite winter film festival, Mammoth Film Festival™, celebrated its third year presented by founders Tanner Beard and Tomik Mansoori with co-founders Alex Chando and Theo Dumont. The opening night featured the theatrical premiere of Zac Efron’s Off The Grid series destination, followed by an extended cut of the documentary QT8: The First Eight Films of Quentin Tarantino.  

Presented by KODAK, the never before seen, extended cut, of the Quentin Tarantino documentary QT8: THE FIRST EIGHT directed by Tara Wood, was introduced by actor Michael Madsen, inclusive of a Q & A after the film led by Wood. From Reservoir Dogs through The Hateful Eight, the documentary focuses on the first 21 years of Quentin Tarantino’s career and includes interviews with his frequent collaborators. Madsen’s son Christian Madsen was on hand to support, who has his own short in the festival screening on March 2nd.

 

Ed Westwick’s film TETHER Premiered the following day on February 28th. The screenings were followed by the Opening Night Gala powered by FilmFreeway, took place at Shelter Distillery at The Village and guests enjoyed a Tarantino themed evening. Festival water provided by PATHWATER (Drinkpathwater.com), snacks by Butterfinger Candy Pop (Snackpop.com), drinks by La Croix, and powered by Kodak, beer by Peroni, JSX (JetSuiteX) and Enterprise, among many other key partners.

February 27th – March 2nd, 2020 in Mammoth Lakes, CA

Mammoth Film Festival™ aims to lead the charge for an ever-changing landscape of film and media. This festival premiered in 2018 and specialized as an all media platform in celebrating varieties of filmmakers, actors, directors, writers, producers and their work. Regal with the wonderful town of Mammoth Lakes, CA as its beautiful backdrop, MammothFF is held in  February at the Minaret Cinemas as well as various venues throughout town. This 5-day festival includes Special Screenings, a Charity Celebrity Bowling Tournament, Educational and Interactive Panels Discussions with Top Industry Leaders, Press Conferences and the MammothCON Vendor Exhibition Hall.
