Tubi Announces Five-Episode Docuseries ‘Just One Before I Die’ on Bills Mafia Fandom
Tubi announced the new original five-episode docuseries Just One Before I Die. The project highlights one of sports most passionate and devoted fanbases by focusing on Bills Mafia. All episodes premiere for free exclusively on Tubi on Wednesday October 21. The series is directed by Addison Henderson and Kevin Polowy.
Full of heart and humor the five-part docuseries chronicles Bills Mafia the most passionate and wild fanbase in sports in their quest for an elusive championship. It covers legendary tailgates and table-smashing traditions along with lifelong rituals heartbreak hope and unwavering loyalty. The series captures the culture that has transformed Bills Mafia from a fanbase into a phenomenon.
Directors Addison Henderson known for Givers of Death and former journalist Emmy nominee Kevin Polowy of Kid Gloves led the project. They stated they are thrilled to partner with Tubi and UNINTERRUPTED to give an inside look into the unwavering devotion of Bills fans. The directors spent nearly three years embedded with these joyfully crazy fans and described it as a true honor to depict why Bills Mafia is the best fanbase in sports. As City of Buffalo natives and die-hard Bills fans themselves they noted that now all they need is a Super Bowl win to die happy.
The docuseries features interviews with Buffalo and football icons including Chad Michael Murray Dion Dawkins Ryan Fitzpatrick Jim Kelly Andre Reed Adam Schefter and Nick Wright.
