Signicat growth ranking climbs 17 places to 76th
Signicat has earned its third consecutive recognition in the Financial Times and Statista’s Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions 2027 ranking. This highlights companies that have achieved sustained primarily organic revenue growth. The firm now stands at 76th place out of 300 European companies. The position shows a climb of 17 places from 93rd in 2026 and an advance of 28 places from its first entry at 104th in 2025. The announcement originated from London on 4 November. The ranking evaluates revenue growth achieved between 2015 and 2025. Signicat is a leading pan-European Digital Identity Service Provider.
Between 2015 and 2025 Signicat increased its revenue from 6.11 million euros to 131.55 million euros. This expansion represents more than a 20-fold increase and corresponds to a compound annual growth rate of 39.65 percent over the ten-year period examined by the ranking. Its average annual growth rate increased from 35.46 percent in the previous ranking to 39.65 percent this year.
CEO Asger Hattel addressed the significance of the continued climb. “Three consecutive appearances are important, but moving higher in the ranking is an even stronger signal of the business we have built,” he stated. “Our growth has been sustained over many years because digital identity has become fundamental infrastructure for organisations operating online. As fraud becomes more sophisticated and regulation increases, businesses need ways to establish trust digitally without creating unnecessary friction for their customers.”
The company ranks 17th among the 61 IT and Software companies featured. This places it in the top third of the ranking’s most represented sector, which makes up 20 percent of the overall list.
Signicat’s position reflects sustained organic growth across its European business with expansion of its customer base, geographic reach and digital identity platform. Today the company employs more than 550 people across 16 European countries and supports more than 2,000 financial institutions, public-sector organisations and enterprises, with its services reaching more than 25,000 customers.
Demand for trusted digital identity solutions continues to grow as organisations confront increasingly sophisticated AI-enabled fraud. At the same time regulatory changes including eIDAS 2.0 and the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation are taking effect. For businesses the challenge lies in combining stronger identity assurance and regulatory compliance with digital experiences that customers will actually complete.
Signicat’s average annual growth rate increased from 35.46 percent in the previous ranking to 39.65 percent this year. The Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions 2027 ranking compiled by the Financial Times and Statista evaluates revenue growth achieved between 2015 and 2025.
