There have been players who have performed exceptionally well when it comes to domestic cricket and Franchise leagues but have not been able to live up to the expectations of the fans when it comes to International debut. Here are the two players who were expected to have an outstanding debut.
1 Rahul Chahar
Rahul Desraj Chahar, an Indian cricketer who was born on August 4, 1999, competes for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League and Rajasthan in domestic competition. In August 2019, he made his international debut for India.
In 2019 Rahul proposed to his longtime love Ishani, and later Rahul Chahar and Rahul Chahar wife wed in March 2022.

Rahul was selected for the Indian Twenty20 International (T20I) team for the series against the West Indies in July 2019. On August 6, 2019, he played in his first T20I match against the West Indies.
He was one of the five standby players in India’s Test team for their series against England in January 2021. He was introduced into India’s lineup for the first Test the following month.
Rahul was selected for the India One Day International (ODI) team for their series against Sri Lanka in June 2021. On July 23, 2021, he played his first ODI for India against Sri Lanka. Chahar was included in the Indian team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in September 2021.
Rahul did not have a great game and could not make an impact which forced the selectors to drop him from the team.
2 Shivam Dube
Indian cricketer Shivam Dube, who was born on June 26, 1993, competes for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League and Mumbai in domestic competition (IPL).
Shivam Dube was born in Mumbai, India, on June 26, 1993. At the age of 14, he gave up playing cricket because he was overweight and couldn’t afford to improve his fitness. At the age of 19, he started playing again and was immediately chosen for the Mumbai Under-23s.
He is an all-arounder who bowls with his right arm at a medium tempo and bats left-handed. In November 2019, he made his cricketing debut for India on an international stage.
Dube married Anjum Khan in Mumbai on July 16, 2021. The marriage was placed according to Islamic Nikah traditions. On February 13, 2022, the couple gave birth to a son, who was their first child.
How was the international start for Shivam Dube?
Dube was selected for India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) team in October 2019 for their series against Bangladesh. On November 3, 2019, he played in his first T20I match against India against Bangladesh.
Dube was selected for India’s One Day International (ODI) team later that month for their series against the West Indies. On December 15, 2019, he played his first ODI for India against the West Indies. Dube bowled the second-most costly over in a T20I competition on February 2, 2020, when he allowed 34 runs in the fifth T20I match against New Zealand.
