Paloma Negra boards cross-border child custody battle drama

According to Variety, Paloma Negra, one of Mexico's prominent production companies founded by producer Cristina Velasco and directors Rigoberto Perezcano and Jorge Hernandez Aldana, has boarded Michael Rowe's film Last Weekend.

The project is a topical cross-border child custody battle drama shot in Southern California and Mexico, with filming completed on October 15.

Rowe previously directed the film Leap Year.
