Mariah Carey wins dismissal of brother’s defamation suit

According to Variety, a judge on Monday dismissed the defamation suit brought by Mariah Carey's brother Morgan Carey. The 2021 lawsuit claimed that Carey's memoir "The Meaning of Mariah Carey" falsely portrayed him as a violent drug dealer. Morgan Carey is ten years older than the superstar.
