Julia Stiles cries in Heath Ledger a tribute rehearsals on ‘DWTS’

Julia Stiles told Variety that she was crying in rehearsals for her planned “Dancing With the Stars” tribute to Heath Ledger. The routine, set to Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” nods to the serenade scene in “10 Things I Hate About You.”

Stiles described the experience as “so crazy” and said that movie clips and voices from the 1999 film are “bringing back so many memories.” The performance airs on Dedication Night, Oct. 20.

She added that the night’s emotional tone gives performers a chance to “make people feel something” and keep Ledger’s work alive.
