The Sixteenth Annual Action On Film International Film Festival and Writer’s Event is truly the festival of the independent filmmaker and writer. Located in the beautiful tourist town of Las Vegas, Nevada, The AOF Megafest is the perfect combination of the creative energy of the creator and the energy of Vegas. The event is scheduled for 7.23.2020 – 8.2.2020.
Action On Film means ’The action a director takes to make his or her vision come true and then the reaction to that effort by the audiences who watch it”. Sure, we love action films, but we get just as inspired by Comedy, Drama, Animation, Documentary and Experimental Projects.
The Action On Film International Film Festival celebrates creators of all levels, talent, and backgrounds and honors their work by screening their films in some of the most gorgeous cinemas in the world. What types of projects are accepted?
The Action On Film International Film Festival is accepting submissions for feature Narrative and Documentary, short Narrative and Documentary, New Media, Music, Lyrics, Poetry, Prose, Unboxing Videos, Spoken Word, Photography and Poster Art. All genres are welcome.
Event
Our 10-day event consists of over 500+ screenings, 20 + seminars, and workshops, after parties, pre-parties, brunches, writer parties, a film market and specialty events that are all FREE for the accepted creators.
The Action On Film International Film Festival caps off with a Sold out Writers’ Award Show and Dinner and 2 star studded Black Tie Dinners and Award Shows. The Award shows, which do require a ticket purchase have been selling out for fifteen years straight.
Bridging the gap

With over 100 nomination categories, your project has it greater chance for nomination than most other festival that offer very few award categories.
