Ariel Lavi, 27 years old, is undoubtedly a rising force in the international film industry and is on his way to becoming one of the most promising filmmakers. He has produced films in the US, Mexico, Nigeria, Dubai, Canada and is the owner of the film production company Lavi Company in Miami which he opened not long ago. He worked with famous actors in several countries, and continues to break unimaginable records. 1. His films won 45 awards, 26 nominations. Most filmmakers don’t have as much, only the most famous names have more and he’s only 27 years old, not normal at all.
2. His films have been distributed to streaming platforms in China, like IQiyi – Netflix of China, Alibaba’s Tencent Video – the platforms with the largest number of subscribers after Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney + in 2022 .

Among the few who screened several of his films at one festival/ were nominated, each film from a different country – the film he produced in Mexico “Metanoia”, the film he wrote and produced in Nigeria “Dangerous Silence”, the film he wrote and produced in Canada “This Won’t End Well”. The films were screened at the Toronto International Nollywood Festival in Toronto and all were nominated for an award and the film in Canada won the Best Comedy Short Drama Film. The record was repeated at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto when the film he produced in Mexico “Metanoia”, the film he produced and wrote in Nigeria “Dangerous Silence”, and the film he wrote and produced in Canada “This Won’t End Well” were nominated for an award at the same festival.
