How long have you been in music?
Music has played a huge role in my life since childhood. I remember dressing up in my mother’s dresses and shoes, putting on lipstick, curling my hair, and holding a bottle of hairspray in my hands performing for my grandmother and great-grandmother – singing and dancing, and they paid me with sweets and money. That’s how I received royalties for my work already at a young age. I graduated from a music school while studying at primary and middle school. While my classmates played in the yard after school, I went to music school for 7 years. I fell in love with classical music and learned to play the piano and sing. At the age of 13, I began writing my own songs.
“I am the Power” is your first composition?
No, at first I wrote songs in Russian. I wrote about love mostly and put the songs in a drawer. Over the years, I accumulated a lot of notebooks with compositions. I just wrote and dreamed that someday the time would come and I would perform the songs or give them to one of the musicians. At the age of 16-17, my sister took me to a fairly well-known producer in Belarus to show my songs. I had them recorded on a dictaphone without musical accompaniment. He listened to me and asked me how much time it takes me to write a song. Without hesitation, I answered that sometimes in less than an hour. He laughed and said that real hits are born in agony for many months, and sometimes years. A couple of years later, one of my songs “Red Eyelashes”, which I wrote for one of the well-known bands in Belarus, became a hit.
What did this situation teach you?
This situation taught me, first of all, that there are no clear criteria for how it should be when it comes to creative expression. Someone needs a month to create a masterpiece, someone a year, and for someone a couple of hours is enough. And this is the peculiarity of each creator. You don’t need to follow someone else, you always need to be yourself. And the main thing is to believe in yourself and your creativity. Because, at first I believed this producer and even closed myself off and stopped writing songs for several years. On top of everything else, he said that my songs were very mediocre and would never become hits. And then I just took a risk and showed one of the songs to the world and the result exceeded my expectations. That’s how sometimes a word can hurt or inspire. To all young and aspiring artists who are looking for support on their path, I want to say that your strength is in your uniqueness. Believe in your creativity and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.
Are you a part of any union or professional musical organization?
Yes, I was invited to join the well-known Eurasian Art Union, and I gladly accepted it. The Eurasian Art Union is a creative community of artists from Europe, Asia, and around the world that is known for its international academic projects and promotion of cultural exchange.
How did you start writing songs in English?
I was lucky enough to work as an interpreter with the famous English band “Smokie” when they were on tour in Belarus. We became friends, and they invited me to their concert in Moscow every year. Wherever I was in the world, I flew to their concert. And so, for a meeting at one of the concerts, I wanted to prepare two compositions for them in English. In collaboration with my producer friend, we recorded two compositions in the style of the band “Smokie” in English, and I presented them.
What was the motivation to travel the world?
Since childhood, I dreamed of traveling the world and performing on stage. The dream seemed very distant and difficult to fulfill. I did not know how I would be able to leave Belarus: I did not have an example of someone who would freely move around the world, and there were questions from a financial point of view. I wanted to explore the world and myself. When we leave our comfort zone, we open up in a new way, and features are revealed that we did not know about before. Travel is a wise and fair teacher. With each year, the confidence that I would be able to fulfill my dream grew, and I trusted myself and the call of my heart more and more.
How did your creativity develop and transform during your travels around the world?
When I started traveling more and further from Belarus, I discovered life in various exotic countries: India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Switzerland. In each country, I immersed myself in spirituality and studied the laws of the universe, especially in Asian countries. That’s how I became a teacher of yoga, meditation, and breathing practices. My worldview slowly but surely changed, and my creativity changed accordingly. Everything I created, from music to theatrical performances or public speaking, became permeated with inspiring themes.
What is the story behind the creation of the song “I am the Power”?
In the process of long travels around the world and living in different countries, when I overcame obstacles and fears, I learned to trust myself and the world more and more, I began to transform, open up to the world, and be less afraid of changes and obstacles. I wanted to share with people what I learned during this fascinating internal and external journey. And so the song “I am the Power” was born as a result of faith in myself and the support of the universe.
What is the concept of the song?
The main idea of “I am the power” is that all the power is within us. My travels to different countries and cultures allowed me to see how people cope with difficulties and overcome obstacles. These observations inspired me to create a song that would awaken confidence in listeners. The lyrics are filled with positive affirmations that remind everyone that they are capable of more.
What do you want to tell people through the song?
I want to say that we greatly underestimate our inner strength and capabilities. Each of us has endless inner potential. There is nothing impossible, there is faith in yourself and your path. Trust plays a key role in following your path, the path of your heart. When you walk with faith and love in your heart, the world responds and shows you the way. This song is about each of us, the song is a reminder that no matter what happens in life, your inner strength is capable of moving mountains.

I continue to inspire and remind the audience of the power within, the importance of following your heart and not betraying your dreams, and the endless potential within that is waiting for its chance to be revealed. Through uplifting positive songs, musical performances, and public speaking, this universal message reaches out to those who need support, inspiration, and love. My new song that is waiting to be released, “I am the creator of my life,” is even more life-affirming and powerful.
