ADVANTAGES OF VAPING THROUGH A GLASS WATER BUBBLER:

If you own a dry herb vaporizer, and use it daily, you are also probably aware of the burning feeling you may encounter when you bump your vaporizer up to the maximum temperature, and you may find this burn feeling a little irritating. If so, then you probably need to get yourself a glass water bubbler, and a water pipe attachment (WPA) for your vaporizer.

THC, the chemical in Cannabis flowers in its original state does not get you ‘high’. You actually need to apply heat to the THC, and then a chemical reaction takes place, transforming the THC from its original state to a new state called THCa. This process begins to happen at 121 degrees Celcius. If you apply 121 degrees Celcius for exactly 30mins, (if you increase the temperature, then decrease the time applied) then the THC will be completely transformed into THCa. THCa is what has the psychoactive properties to get you ‘high’. This process is called Decarboxylation. Decarboxylation happens naturally in dry herb vaporizers as they heat the flower up, converting the THC into THCa in a vapor form.

However, as we vapers all know, the higher you push the temperature that you are vaping at, the more of a “hit’ you get from the vapor, so the temptation is to keep pushing the temperature higher and higher. Unfortunately, the sacrifice if you go hotter is that the burn on the throat may become too much.

Once you have this setup, you can safely push your vaporizer up to the highest temperature that it will go to, and as the water in the bubbler cools the vapor down, you will be able to take much longer, deeper rips from your vaporizer without irritating your throat!
