Celebrities kick start the holiday shopping season with (RED)
Make It (RED) aired on Amazon.com/Live on November 18th, 6-7pm ET, kicking off the (RED) Shopathon where every purchase raises money for the fight to end AIDS.
The special show featured many of the 150+ (RED) gifts ideas to give and get, available now at Amazon.com/RED. Javier Muñoz and Anne V were seen competing to win a chaotic (RED) holiday “wrap battle”, while Allison Williams shared her experiences in Africa with (RED) to underline the impact that shopping (RED) can have.
Chef ambassador, Angie Mar, took control in the kitchen, giving Phoebe a lesson in how to cook the perfect festive beef pie using (RED) cookware. Phoebe Robinson, Allison Williams and Javier Muñoz appeared in (RED)’s first live, shoppable show on Amazon Live. The show featured pre-recorded holiday messages from Kristen Bell, Andy Cohen, Hailee Steinfeld and more.
Kristen Bell (The Good Place) had this to say about Amazon and (RED): “Amazon have made it super easy to get the holiday shopping done and the best part – every purchase helps fight AIDS. Stay home, shop (RED).” Actor Fred Armisen had this to say: “Shopping for the holidays has never been easier with (RED). There’s something for everyone and what’s better than that each purchase helps save lives.”
For the third year, Amazon has created a limited (RED) edition of the all-new Echo, which can be pre-ordered now and will be available for a limited time. For Echo (RED) edition sold, Amazon will donate $10 to the Global Fund.
The all-new Echo features an updated fabric design and even better sound. The new premium speakers are powered with Dolby to play 360° audio with crisp vocals and dynamic bass response.
The limited edition (RED) fabric design not only supports a great cause, but is the perfect color to add to festive holiday décor. With the all-new Echo, you can ask Alexa to play music, tell you the weather, make your life easier by adding items to shopping lists or checking your calendar, voice control your smart home, and so much more.
