Cutvey subscription plans replace $210 monthly tool stack

Cutvey LLC announced on November 3, 2026 the release of Cutvey, production management software for video production companies, filmmakers and videographers. The platform is available immediately at cutvey.com and functions as a single-subscription replacement for the assortment of general-purpose tools many studios assemble. Its stack calculator, constructed from list prices examined in November 2026, places the typical monthly cost for seven tools serving a two-person studio at about $210.

Three paid tiers are offered. Solo costs $49 a month or $29 a month when billed yearly. Pro costs $99 a month or $59 a month yearly. Studio costs $199 a month or $119 a month yearly, delivering a 40 percent reduction versus monthly billing. Enterprise arrangements are priced individually with each company. Every plan includes a full 14-day trial that requires no card. Optional add-ons include extra seats at $10 each per month and storage blocks of 200 GB for $15 or 1 TB for $30 per month. The $210 benchmark cited by the stack calculator reflects seven separate tools for a two-person studio.

The software guides each job through its complete sequence. Inquiry and booking begin with lead forms on the studio website and a dedicated booking page. Proposal and contract allow the client to select a package, sign electronically and pay the deposit during a single visit. Planning tools cover shot lists, storyboards, moodboards and script breakdown. Crew and call sheets incorporate deal memos together with documents that list the forecast, sunrise and sunset times and the nearest hospital; each crew member confirms receipt with one tap.

Client review supports playback up to 4K, with notes attached directly to the file timecode that export as Resolve and Avid EDLs, Final Cut Pro XML and Premiere Pro markers. Final delivery files remain locked until the client approves the cut and pays the balance, although the studio may release them earlier at its discretion. Invoices and payment reminders are issued through the studio’s own Stripe account; Cutvey does not take a cut of the amounts received from clients.

The Cutvey team explained the rationale with the statement: “Filmmakers are tired of paying for a stack of subscriptions that were built for every kind of business except theirs. Cutvey is one subscription made for the way a production actually runs, from the first email to the last payment.” The company highlights six differentiators: the platform was created by filmmakers who use it on their own productions and review every release internally before distribution; payments are directed to the studio’s own Stripe account since Cutvey does not currently take a cut; the service shows no ads and does not currently sell personal information; AI features run only upon request and Cutvey does not currently use customer content to train generalized AI models; sign-in relies on one-time email codes without passwords, and clients need no account; privacy options allow users to disable email open tracking and remove location data from uploaded moodboard images and RAW files.

Four Apple apps are included with every plan and share the same account credentials. Cutvey Offload copies camera cards on Mac, verifies each copy and carries an Apple Developer ID signature plus Apple notarization. Cutvey Meter, Viewfinder and Teleprompter manage color, framing and script display on set; Meter and Viewfinder are distributed through the App Store.

The service supports 41 languages and regional variants for client-facing pages, emails and the studio interface. It runs in any modern web browser and supplies a free companion app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Storage and seat add-ons are available as described earlier. An Enterprise tier offers company-specific pricing and additional controls.
