Patrick Stewart death: Hugh Jackman mourns ‘X-Men’ co-star

Variety reports that Patrick Stewart, the longtime “X-Men” co-star and friend of Hugh Jackman, died on Wednesday at age 86 after a “brief battle” with Alzheimer’s and Lewy Body Dementia.

In an Instagram post Jackman stated, “We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today.”
