According to Variety, Kenan Thompson weighed in on Shane Gillis' controversial SNL monologue during the Axios Media Trends Live summit.

Social media outrage followed a joke about women dressing like “whores” at the gym.

Thompson said, “I know Shane, and I don’t know him to be a mean person, necessarily.”

The veteran added that a real chat would be required if Gillis hosted again.
