Variety reports that Netflix is undergoing its biggest content leadership shake-up in years.

Co-CEO Ted Sarandos delivered a clear message during the company's third-quarter earnings call on Tuesday that the streamer's international strategy is working and that the U.S. slate needs fixing.

The company touted its international success and is eyeing additional broadcaster deals after pacts with TF1 and Globo.

The leadership changes involve the appointment of former Disney executive Peter Rice.
