According to Variety, Warner Music Group has announced a plan to combine its global sync operations, bringing together its recorded music and publishing divisions into a single unit.

Variety reports that Warner Music Group will merge its worldwide sync activities by uniting the recorded music and publishing divisions under one umbrella.

Industry veteran Ron Broitman has been elevated to President of Global Sync and will oversee the new combined operation.

Broitman is based in Los Angeles.
