Netflix ousts film chief Dan Lin in workforce cuts

Variety reports that Netflix ousted Dan Lin as the company’s head of film in what a top insider described as another bloody Monday at the streamer.

“Everyone is collateral damage,” the insider summarized.

The action followed last week’s 6% workforce reduction, which also affected chief content officer Bela Bajaria and Lin’s right-hand Doug Belgrad.

The publication explores the reasons behind the firing along with the truth about Lin’s tension with Greta Gerwig over the Narnia project.
