What ‘Variety’ reports about Dan Lin out as Netflix film chief

The departure, described as a significant development even if expected, comes in the wake of a layoff bloodbath at the streamer last week.

Roughly 1,000 employees got the chop, capped by the shock firing of chief content Bela Bajaria.
