‘Dancing with the Stars’ pulls Val Chmerkovskiy after slap joke

Variety reports that ‘Dancing With the Stars’ has pulled Val Chmerkovskiy following an ‘Inappropriate’ Carrie Ann Inaba Slap Joke, noting that ‘The Well-Being’ of the staff remains ‘Non-Negotiable’

According to Variety, “Dancing With the Stars” has decided to bench Chmerkovskiy after he made a joke about judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

“The well-being of everyone who works on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is non-negotiable. Val’s social media post was inappropriate and does not reflect the values or standards expected of anyone connected with the show,” BBC Studios said.
