Head to the official PNP payment portal and sign in with your credentials. Make sure you’re on the genuine site and not a lookalike page. I always double-check the web address before typing my password. If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the code sent to your phone or email.

Go to the tab or menu which shows your transaction history or your payments. You will find this on your account’s home page.

Step 3: Find Your Payment

The transaction history will list all of your transactions in reverse chronological order. You can use the search or filter options to quickly locate your payment. Depending on your payment history, you may be able to filter your transaction history based on the date or the amount. Once you locate your payment, you will be able to view the details of your payment.

The app sends notifications about payment transactions. These notifications have been really useful for me. I no longer have to wait to see if my payment was successful. If you have not enabled notifications, turn them on. It will help you save a lot of time.

First, find your recent transaction and look if the payment amount matches the bill amount. You can also check if the payment has been confirmed by going through the emails you have previously registered.

Some Bill Payment Issues and What You Can Do

First, make sure you have done all the steps required to initiate the payment. If the payment has not been reflected after a few hours, then you need to take other steps.

• Logging out and logging back in can refresh the payment status.
• Check your bank statement to confirm if the payment has been deducted.

Contacting support is easy if you have your transaction number and the date of your payment. Having these makes the support call short and simple. I have had the experience where the support rep called to confirm my payment, and fixed it in a few minutes.

Tips to Make Payment Easy

I have learnt and adapted a few methods that simplify payment management.

• I capture/ take a picture of confirmation screens.
• I set up notifications for transactions.
• I created a simple document/note that shows a list of my monthly payment obligations.
• I pay a few days in advance.
• I use book marks to store the official websites I pay my bills through.

I have also learnt that payment scam sites are easy to create and hard to detect. There are some tips to detect these site but the easiest way is to type in the payment site address or use a bookmark.
