1. In Alien Storm, you play Annie, a bartender whose everyday world gets upended by an otherworldly invasion. What was your entry point into finding Annie’s emotional core amidst all the sci-fi chaos?
Annie is just a normal person thrown into something completely wild. I connected with her because I used to be a waitress, so I understood that everyday side of her. Then it becomes all about survival.
2. You mentioned that Annie brings a unique warmth, optimism, and innocence to the story. How did you balance keeping her grounded and relatable while responding to the extreme, high-stakes terror around her?

I kept her very human. She’s scared, but she’s also brave and willing to fight back.
3. The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Kevin Sorbo, Tom Arnold, Glenn Plummer, and Robert Standley. What was the dynamic like working alongside this veteran cast in such a claustrophobic setting?

4. Alien Storm was shot in just two weeks in Las Vegas during intense, punishing desert weather. How did those physical challenges impact the cast’s performance and camaraderie on set?
It was freezing and incredibly windy, so we were all going through it together. The crew kept us warm, hydrated, and taken care of, and it definitely brought everyone closer.
5. You recently wrapped filming Scorpion in Cyprus alongside Clive Owen and Alex Pettyfer under director Richard Hughes. What can fans expect from your character, Carmen, in this psychological thriller?

Carmen is very relatable, but I don’t want to give too much away. I’m just really grateful to be part of the film, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
6. With over 45 film credits under your belt, you’ve worked across a wide variety of genres. What draws you to sci-fi and psychological thrillers in particular?
I love the thrill of those stories. With every character, I get to create a different version of myself. Horror can be brutal, but it’s also art, and I love the survival aspect of it.

7. You’re currently pitching your original psychological thriller, Luci Hart, to major studios while developing a new horror project. How does writing and developing your own material shape your approach as an actress?
Writing helps me understand characters from the inside out. With Luci Hart, I created the entire world, so she’s very personal to me. It pushes me to go to the extreme as an actress and creator.
8. Your musical background includes a signature “tribal pop” sound rooted in your Comanche ancestry. How does your cultural background and identity influence the storytelling choices you make in film?
Tribal pop roots shape storytelling
My background is part of who I am, so naturally it becomes part of my creativity. I love bringing different pieces of myself into my music, acting, and storytelling.
9. How do your music career and acting work feed into each other creatively when you are stepping into a dynamic character?
Music helps me connect to emotion, and acting gives me another way to express it. They both allow me to explore different sides of myself creatively.

10. Now that Alien Storm is streaming on Apple TV and Scorpion is headed to the festival circuit next year, what is the dream role or collaboration you’re aiming for next?
My dream role would be to play Catwoman. I love strong, mysterious, darker characters, and I think she would be so much fun to bring to life. I also want to keep creating my own stories. Creativity has no borders, you just have to find it deep inside yourself and let it shine.
