Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West still getting a divorce?
Kim Kardashian showed up last Thursday to Kanye West’s second Donda listening party, wearing a tight black leather outfit with a zipper feature on both the mouth and eyes, and while the outfit may have been designed by a Spanish luxury design house, we’re more of the belief that Kim Kardashian was either set on replicating the gimp in Pulp Fiction or planned on a jewelry heist after Ye’s listening party.
However, regardless of Kim Kardashian’s attire, many are curious why she keeps attending Kanye West’s listening parties, as the Kanye West & Kim Kardashian divorce has long since been in the rearview mirror. Of course, Kanye West first held a listening party for his upcoming album Donda, inspired by the rapper’s late mother, in Atlanta, Georgia at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where he had reportedly been living.
While the second party also took place at this venue, many are curious why Kim Kardashian keeps attending these listening parties, knowing that she divorced West back in February after seven years of marriage. We mean, wasn’t Kanye West supposedly dating Irina Shayk? If so, Why is Kim Kardashian so supportive of Kanye months after their much-publicized divorce? Let’s unpack what we know.
Kanye’s new love
It was reported a few months back that both Kanye West & Irina Shayk had been spending time together in Provence, France, leaving us, the public, anxious to jump on the rapper for his quick recovery after a decade-long marriage with Kim Kardashian. The couple, who were reportedly staying at a 600-acre boutique, were seen taking photos of one another. It’s where love was found, a love that has seemingly stayed.
Irina Shayk, who had previously been seeing actor & director Bradley Cooper for four years before their break-up in 2019, has had many infamous boyfriends in the past prior to Cooper, including the likes of soccer phenom Cristiano Ronaldo, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon. The pair continue to date long-distance despite breakup rumors, as Kanye has no plans to move from L.A. to NYC.
Irina Shayk has one daughter with Bradley Cooper, while Kanye West has four different children with Kim Kardashian, and while it is unclear if these two families will one day form one super union, it is obvious that both Kanye West & Irina Shayk are falling in love for one another very fast, which turned the attention to Kim Kardashian and her thoughts on this blossoming romance.

Only days after news came out of Kanye West & Irina Shayk, E! News got the hot scoop from a source close to Kim Kardashian regarding her thoughts of this new relationship, stating that “Kim has heard the rumors about Kanye and Irina Shayk and she doesn’t mind at all. If it doesn’t impact her kids, then she doesn’t mind if Kanye dates.”
A second source close to the situation also noted that, because there is no relationship between Irina Shayk and Kim Kardashian that there is no awkwardness on the part of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. “She would like to find someone down to earth and normal,” A source told E!. “She’s not in a rush and is happy being single. Eventually she would like to find someone again but it has to be the right person.”
As for her current feelings for the rapper after the West vs. Kim Kardashian divorce, The reality star told Andy Cohen how “That was my friend first and foremost for a long time, so I can’t see that going away. I will forever be Kanye’s biggest fan. He’s the father of my kids. Kanye will always be family.”
